Who this is for

Admins connecting the first identity source to Owlie.

Goal

Connect a system and complete the first ingestion.

Prereqs

• Admin access to your tenant
• Connector credentials for Okta, Entra ID, or Google Workspace

Success criteria

Identities and groups appear in the Admin Dashboard after sync.

Steps

1. Open the Admin Dashboard at /admin.
2. Go to the connector setup page: /admin/integrations/:integration.
3. Enter the connector credentials and required scopes.
4. Test the connection.
5. Run the initial sync.
6. Verify identities and groups appear in /admin.

Default configuration

• Start with your primary identity provider.

When to change it

• If you need app‑level entitlements first, connect the app system after the IdP.

Impact and risks

• Incorrect scopes can lead to incomplete entitlement ingestion.
• Correlation errors can create duplicate identities.

Example

Connect Okta first, sync users and groups, and confirm identities appear in the Admin Dashboard.
